Originální abstrakt

The bioimpedance measurement based on a thoratic electrical bioimpedance (TEB) is able to measure continual cardiac output with the same clinical accuracy as invasive methods. The TEB is noninvasive method and that is why it requires neither sterile environment nor a qualified team of specialists. The TEB is also quite cheap and thereby more suitable for clinical use. The measurement of bioimpedance itself is based on indirect measurement of impedance (electric resistance and reactance). Two couples of electrodes are used. The first is for current supply with frequency about 50kHz and with amplitude up to 1mA. The second couple is used to sense electric voltage that is induced by the measure current mentioned above. From measured values it is possible to see the change of blood saturation in a blood steam and tissue or relative representation of fat and muscle tissue.
