Originální abstrakt

The article deals with the probabilistic analysis of the reliability of a compressed steel column with hollow thin-walled rectangular cross-section. The stochastic computational model is based on the non-linear finite element method and numerical simulation Latin Hypercube Sampling method. Initial geometric imperfections were introduced according to the local and global buckling modes. Statistical analysis of the load carrying capacity was performed for four variants of wall thicknesses. The influence of the nominal thickness of the wall of the hollow rectangular cross-section on the ultimate limit state was studied.
