Originální abstrakt

In the present paper, the reliability of a tensile beam will be studied. It will be determined by the probability analysis, whether the value of material safety factor ăM0 = 1.0 guarantees a satisfactory design reliability, and whether it corresponds to the quality of steel products made by a dominant Czech producer. At the same time, our study will be based on experimentally determined material and teometrical characteristics of IPE profiles. The failure probability in connection with the values of partial factors and procedures to determine the loading effects of the standard EN 1900 will be computed by the Monte Carlo method.
