Low temperature 3D printed bioresorbable hydrogels as carriers of pro-healing protein for tissue regeneration

O projektu

Extrusion based 3D printing records growth in tissue engineering to produce pharmaceuticals and medical implants. In this project, bioresorbable hydrogel based on lactic and glycolic acid (PLGA-PEG-PLGA) modified with double bonds suitable for blue light crosslinking (synthesized and patented by CEITEC) will be firstly applied for the low temperature extrusion 3D printing. Prior to 3D printing, hydrogels will be enriched with pro-healing protein (FGF2-STAB). Stability of printed hydrogel carriers at physiological conditions, their mechanical properties and protein release will be evaluated.
