Detail projektu

Vzdálená identifikace malých odražečů prostřednictvím elektromagnetických vln

Období řešení: 01.01.2015 — 31.12.2017

O projektu

The aim of the project is to investigate, numerically and analytically characterize, experimentally verify, and understand the behavior and principal limitations of new chipless information encoding principles using wireless recognition capabilities in both linear and non-linear working modes by applying electrically small artificial (composite) structures and their arrays and their unique sensing. These structures will be composed of partial- up to sub-wavelength sized metallo-dielectric, predominantly uniplanar, thin film (for infra red) passive radiators and scatterers, semiconductor electronic components, and metallic elements. The main characteristics of these structures to be determined are resonant frequency, quality factor, bandwidth, radar cross-section, absorption rate, equivalent circuit, mutual coupling, andinformation density limitations. Electromagnetic/optical reflection, absorption and scattering in free space or in waveguiding structures are used as main probing and testing methods. The higher harmonics are searched in detecting the response of non-linear targets.
