O projektu

Projekt je zaměřen na detailní studium průběhu kontaktního poškození vybrané ložiskové oceli prostřednictvím nalezení a vyhodnocení vhodných parametrů signálu akustické emise.

Popis anglicky
The project is aimed to detailed study of contact damage of bearing steel by means of evaluation of suitable parameters of acoustic emission (AE) signal. The AE signal will be recorded directly during the tests on devices Axmat and R-mat. The existence of differently intensive mechanisms of damage at diverse stages of contact fatigue of materials results in important changes of AE signal. These changes will be evaluated and correlated with results of classical vibrational analyses and with fractographic and metallographic observations. With the help of acquired results a new method of evaluation of contact damage course will be elaborated. This method will be verified on other bearing materials. In the final phase these results will be used for testing of real bearings with aim to develop a more accurate diagnostic method for continuous evaluation of bearing state directly during their operation.
