The subject focuses mainly on the area of the system of pedagogical sciences, on basic pedagogical terms, on an overview of educational institutions, on the aims, contents and means of education and on the process of learning.

Learning outcomes of the course unit

Students will obtain theoretical knowledge from general pedagogy and with its help, will learn to solve the basic problems of education in the area of physical training. They become familiar with the patterns of the teaching process, teaching methods, organizational forms, didactic principles and other aspects of traditional and alternative education.

Basic orientation in pedagogy at school level.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods

Exercises promote the practical mastery of subject presented in lectures or assigned for individual study with the active participation of students.nations.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes

The course consists of lectures, which are mandatory. Any absence must be excused and replaced after consultation with the teacher. The course is ended by a written exam.
Credit: active participation on the lectures and presentation of the topic
Final exam: written form (A – E, 100 – 50 points, F – 49 and less).

- Pedagogy in relation to free time.

Aims

The subject focuses mainly on the area of the system of pedagogical sciences, on basic pedagogical terms, on an overview of educational institutions, on the aims, contents and means of education and on the process of learning.

Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences

The subject consists of lectures, which are compulsory. The subject will be concluded with an test. Any absence must be duly excused and substituted for after agreement with the head of the subject.
