Originální abstrakt

The present results of long-term operational verifying of Ni-Cd batteries of the firm SAFT in electric vehicles with the use of fast charging have proved high stability of capacity of separate 6 V Ni-Cd blocks used already for the period of 7 years (45 630 km). 24 V Ni-Cd batteries formed of Ni-Cd cells type VR7F of 7 Ah nominal capacity have gone through 500 cycles of operational tests in electric folding scooter using common method of charging and method of fast charging. Positive influence of fast charging method of Ni-Cd accumulators results from stability of original fine structure of cadmium mass.
