The Institute of Mechanics of Solid at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in BUT cooperates for a couple of year with Traumatological Hospital Brno. The cooperation is focused mainly onto selected biomechanical problems in spine. The research deals with the mechanical properties of spine fixators and degenerated vertebra load capacity improvement by applyting bioactive ceramics NORIAN.
