This paper desribes the use of artificial neural net-based controllers for real process control. The back-propagation algorithm makes the base for the adaptive control strategy of a layered neural network. Several possible architectures of neural net-based controllers are presented. Experimental verificationof a particular controller structure is demonstrated using simulation and real models of various processes.
