Sewage sludge from different waste water treatment plants was evaluated by selected tests of ecotoxicity with respect to their intended use. For this purpose two alternative toxicity tests, Thamnotoxkit FTM on sense organisms Thamnocephalus platyurus and Daphnotoxkit FTM magna on sense organisms Daphnia magna were used, and also two phytotests were employed: Sinapis alba root growth inhibition toxicity test and Allium cepa L root growth inhibition toxicity test. The values of 24hLC50 a 48hLC50 obtained for Thamnocephalus platyurus and Daphnia magna testing organisms and 72hIC50 values gained for Sinapis alba and Allium cepa testing plants are the basic data for the ecotoxicological assessment of the sewage sludges..
