Originální abstrakt

For control and measurement of current physical values are widely used highly reliable and certified control systems. For direct process control are most frequently used control systems based on PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), industrial controllers and other standard control systems. These systems are usually equipped by standardized interfaces for sensor connection. Mentioned interfaces usually work with standard voltage and current signals. Second way how to connect smart-sensor and intelligent actuators to control system is to use on serial network. In this case the information of measured value is transferred as digital bit-oriented data flow. Applications based on standard industrial control systems and industrial serial networks are usually too expensive for small and very small application. For that reason has been proposed and developed small, widely modular microcontroller control/measurement system. This project has been solved in framework of FRVŠ G1/2002. Mentioned small control system has been realized by intensive cooperation of students and post-gradual student. System is based on individual modules like CPU modules, HMA modules, IO modules, communication interfaces etc. The main criteria for developing of that system has been minimization of total cost with regard to maximal utility value and technological abilities of system. There were implemented standard open serial buses and open protocols to the communication subsystem. We have used license-free buses and protocols. Mentioned modules are making up unit assembly system, which is able to realize tasks like measurement of physical values, implementation of control and feedback control algorithms etc. System can be connected to distributed control structures by using of standard protocols and buses. Of course, the system has been mainly developed as laboratory system for checking up abilities of such systems in framework of small and very small control tasks and systems.
