The paper describes a new effective approach to simulation of voltage and current distributions along the transmission line (TL) with the nonlinear load. Numerical results of the transmission line simulations based on Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method are presented and are compared with results from Spice simulation. The new algorithm based on FDTD was programmed in Matlab language. Some illustrative examples were solved and obtained numerical results were presented.
