In automobile industry today, great attention is paid to the problems of reducing vehicle noise. The complex mechanisms of modern transmitting and propellant systems can work properly only if the clearances in a whole kinematic diagram are set correctly. However, these clearances cause (in a dynamic regime) an unexpected increase in the noise level arising from the bearing node and the connected parts. The situation mentioned above can even worsen with simple attempts to define the clearances using various elastic elements. As a result, there may appear unexpected noise responses of the mechanism to the exciting vibrations of the system generated by the combustion engine.
