This paper describes tests and measurements of indoor performance of the IEEE 802.15.4 radios. The tests were set up to evaluate packet loss and signal strength in building control applications. These tests try to show the indoor radio performance as the indoor environments present one of the biggest challenges for the network designers because it is hard to predict or analytically determine the communication properties.
