This paper deals with application interface integration of the digital signal proc-essor plug-in system developed at Department of Telecommunication FEEC, TU Brno into system of the Virtual Studio Technology designed for real-time digital audio processing using plug-in method in personal computers. Thanks to integra-tion of the plug-in management and transfer of the DSP parameters to the Virtual Studio Technology, the DSP system can be used as a support system for decreasing CPU power load in software-based real-time digital audio workstations.
