With respect to previous papers this paper deals with a diagnostic test on a LV switchgear model. The models are tested with variety of combination of ferromagnetic and diamagnetic (non-ferrous) splitter plates in the arc-quenching chamber. The tests show the capability of ferrous plates for arc quenching process in chamber. The tests give to us important data for setup and validation of numerical modeling of arc in quenching chamber. In the test is also used the electronic high-speed camera, that record arc movement from one side of the model. Recoded data evaluation is also included in this paper.
