There is described new method of astronomical determination of position in this paper. Method is designed for deflections of the vertical determination by means of astronomical and GPS measurements in terrain. Astronomical method is intended for precise electronic theodolites, portable computer serves as base for measurement arrangement and registration. Determination of the vertical accuracy using this astronomical method is approximately 0,5". Content of the paper: stars selection for measurement, methodology of measurement, data processing, time accuracy dependence and systematic errors.
