Originální abstrakt
This contribution is focused on the degradation process initiated by the DC diaphragm discharge in water solutions of selected organic compounds. Various chemical active species such as radicals, ions and molecules are produced by such discharge in water and they can initiate further chemical reactions. The model compounds used in the degradation experiments are organic dyes and humic acids. The process is studied at various discharge conditions (the applied voltage magnitude and polarity, initial conductivity of the solution etc.).
