This contribution presents the results obtained within the scope of the institutional research solutions at the Business and Management Faculty under the name The Possible trends of development of the mechanical engineering and electro technical companies with respect to the South Moravian Region (MSM : 265100017). One of the partial spheres of this research is the marketing, whose aim is to react to present situation on the industrial market in the Czech Republic being considered from the view of the latest trends influencing the company s function. The first section of this contribution will be focused on the reasoning the trends which seen from the viewpoint of the research team influencing contemporary and future successful existence of industrial companies. In the second section the attention will be paid to the sphere of the marketing concept of a company being based on the principles of total customer satisfaction, which creates preconditions for comparing and elaborating the orientation of the firms to the customer and his/her satisfaction, which at present time is also one of the important component of the standard ČSN EN ISO 9001:2000. Within the scope of this section there will be presented some results of the research done within the Czech firms just referring to their orientation towards customers. In conclusion there will be presented the principles of a marketing managed company along the lines of Total customer satisfaction. In discussion there will be foreshadowed further possibilities of development of the companys orientation towards the customer, which is mainly connected to the innovation sphere of its activities focused on the client and to realizing the possibilities, which are offered to a company by marketing in the E business environment. In conclusion the results will be summarized and formulated into the form of suggestions for companies functioning within the Czech environment, which would enable to build or improve their orientation to the customer and his/her satisfaction, which in the existing entrepreneurial environment belong to the main priorities of majority world s companies.
