Originální abstrakt
Two fast-chargers for lead-acid batteries were developed. The first charger (700 W) is matched to classical automotive applications. The second one (1500 W) was created for a traction battery 48 V / 40 Ah of an electric scooter. Both chargers are based on DC/DC converters using the topology of single-acting forward converter with a pulse transformer. Using high switching frequency (180 kHz and 120 kHz) the dimensions of the pulse transformer are very low.
