Preparation and characterization of functionalised unidirectional long fibre thermoset biocomposites, based on flax fibre reinforcements and polyester or vinyl ester matrix. The biocomposite samples were prepared by pultrusion. Surface of raw flax fibers was modified by a wet-procedure in an organic or water/organic solutions of acetic anhydride, itaconic anhydride and three silane coupling agents with vinyl, methacrylate or glycidyl functional groups.
