This work is focused on a research of thin layers from Parylene C. These layers are intended for metallic artefacts protection. Prepared layers were observed by several analytical methods like Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), Fourier Transformation Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR), profilometrie and other. Furthermore oxygen transmission rate measurements and corrosion tests were performed.
