The paper discusses the diagnostics of pathology in small bones, especially those located in the mandibular region. We created a reference set of 36 patients including both subjects with defined pathologies of bone (necrosis; fibrous dysplasia; plasmacytoma; brown tumor; Pagets disease of bone; parathyreosis) and individuals without a pathology in the bone tissue. The purpose of the presented research is to find correlation between the blood tests of examined patients and their MRI images. The results of the blood tests mainly provided the information related to the levels of Ca, vitamin D, f-T4, osteocalcin, and parathyroid hormone PTH. The MRI images measured and processed comprised the subtypes T1W, T2W, STIR, and DWI. In further use, the established correlations may facilitate correct diagnostics of bone marrow pathologies
