The optimisation problem is defined as optimising the design of longitudinal reinforcement in a concrete load-bearing structure only. The behaviour of a foundation beam under the constant load acting in time interval (ti,ti+1) is solved. The live load is changed in time points ti,ti+1 only. Changes of the internal forces and deformation (settlement) of the foundation beam are caused by: a) change of the load applied on foundation construction in time dependence (influence of additional load, or unloading), b) change of the physical and mechanical characteristics of the concrete constructions and subsoil in dependence on the load intensity (physical non-linearity, origin and development of cracks in a concrete construction), c) time dependent phenomena performing in the concrete plate (shrinkage and creep) and in the subsoil (filtering consolidation and creep).
