The method based on linear charging and discharging of capacitor for small capacity measurements with high accuracy is described in the paper. Circuitry is designed for on-chip implementation. Excellent linear response on a capacity or an interelectrode distance has been reach with capacity of 1 pF. Resolution can be programmed.
