Skriptum je svým přístupem určeno pro distanční vzdělávání, tj. pro studium bez přímého kontaktu s učitelem.

These lecture notes contain the following chapters: Limits of classical physics, Wave - corpuscles dualism, Basic concepts of quantum mechanics, Description of systems and corpuscles in quantum mechanics, Band structure of solids and Energy band spectrum of metals, insulators and semiconductors. The lecture notes are structured in such a manner, that they allow distant learning, i.e. study without a direct contact with the teacher.
