Originální abstrakt

This paper provides some results from long-term experimental work focused on verification of physical-mechanical properties of concrete made of Portland cement and fine-ground blast-furnace slag with consistence suitable for ready-mixed concrete technology. When designing concrete compositions, part of Portland cement was substituted by fine-ground blast-furnace granulated slag and it was observed how this substitute would influence its properties as compared with concrete using Slag-Portland cement as a binder. The objective was to get an optimum ratio of mixing of slag with Portland cement to gain maximum economic benefit and favourable impact on changes of volume, modules of elasticity and concrete durability.
