Short-wave radio-amateur transceiver input filters design is dealt with in this paper. Circuits depicted in this work were designed for superheterodyne short-wave radio-amateur transceiver. Firstly, the principle and necessity of frequency filtering is described. Secondly, an example of input band-pass filter design using Ansoft Designer software is presented. Realization notes are mentioned. Nine band-pass filters with low insertion loss were designed in total. Paper is concluded with prototype filters board amplitude-frequency characteristics measurement report.
