This paper deals with a Matlab simulation of 802.16 (WiMAX) [1] physical layer performance in AWGN, Rice and Rayleigh fading channel. There was made a Matlab code that provides graphical interface for simulations of complete IEEE 802.16 physical layer specification. Basic description of the program and results in graphical and numerical form are introduced as a BER to SNR dependence. This paper concerns the simulations of the PHY layer in the Matlab environment. All the program functions and their graphical output are shown here together with a description of the program structure and in the end there is a summary of all the simulations published here.
