In this contribution, we present and discuss how the interleaving principle can be used in OFDM, MC-CDMA and MC-DS-CDMA systems in order to reduce the PAPR. Moreover, we analyze the improvement of power amplifier efficiency gained by the PAPR reduction using several selected methods employing interleaving principle. The methods under consideration are Multiple Signal Representation (MSR) for OFDM and frequency interleaving (random or optimized) for MC-CDMA and MC-DS-CDMA.
