The goal of this Diploma thesis is to design and realize modulator and demodulator BPSK/QPSK, verify its function and measure basic parameters. Modulator is realized by quadrature modulator circuit RF2713 with additional input and output parts. Demodulator is realized with the same circuit RF2713, but in quadrature demodulator configuration. Because this is modulation with supressed carrier, there must be circuits for carrier recovery. I chose an analog Costas loop for BPSK and Modified Costas loop for QPSK demodulation. Next part of demodulator is timing recovery circuits, which are realized by digital PLL using circuit CD74LS297.
