Originální abstrakt

This paper deals with an automatic human faces localization in color images. In the first part there is an overview and a short description of methods solving this area. In the second part there is on a base of these methods proposed the localization algorithm which used color face skin model, wavelet transformation and set of morphological operations. Further there is described the realization of algorithms for facial features localization (eyes and lips) on a base of "color maps". Whole algorithm was tested on images from the Georgia Tech face database with total recognition rate of 93.4%.
