The paper demonstrates the computation (design) of the laser beam power distribution emitted by Amsat P3D-like satellite towards the Earth surface. Amsat P3D satellite carries a laser transmitter which is used for laser signal detection research. The evaluation of the similar links availability based on the stationary FSO link parameters is presented.
