Originální abstrakt

This paper deals with techniques that can support effective communications of Internet-based sensor systems, i.e. groups of smart sensors accessible through Internet. To enable efficient accessing individual subsets of those sensors by separate groups of users in the Internet environment, it is necessary to utilize special techniques that can guarantee low communication traffic and appropriate information security. The main techniques discussed comprise IP multicast routing, including communication security aspects, and publish/subscribe configuration. Those techniques can properly interplay and provide suitable support for systems design of Internet-based sensor.
