In the near future, rapid demand for technologies enabling location and navigation in indoor environment is expected. One of the basic principles used for positioning is to measure the distance between a moving node fixed and stations with known coordinates. The nanoPAN 5375 is an RF module that, in addition to wireless communication, can measure the distance others. It uses time of flight (TOF) and Symmetrical Double-Sided Two Way Ranging (SDS-TWR) to minimize clock drift. This paper proposes testing this module.
