Originální abstrakt

Heart rate variability, considered as an indicator of autonomic nervous function shows differences between healthy persons and patients with metabolic syndrome. Data from 40 patients with metabolic syndrome and 48 healthy subjects were obtained. Poincaré plots and calculated indexes SD1 and SD2 were used to evaluate the differences between heart rate variability in these two groups. The SD1 and SD2 showed lower values during rest in patients with the metabolic syndrome and a smaller decrease of these parameters occurred during the tilt relative to the control group. This change can be expressed by the difference deltaSD1 and deltaSD2 before and during the tilt. In conclusion, the deltaSD1 obtained from a signal measured in tilt in controlled breathing of 20 times per minute may perhaps help to distinguish between healthy persons and patients with the metabolic syndrome if it is correctly used.

Český abstrakt

Variabilita srdcového rytmu, považovaná za indikátor funkce autonomní nervové soustavy vykazuje rozdíly mezi zdravými osobami a pacienty s metabolickým syndromem. Data byly získané u 40 pacientů s metabolickým syndromem u 48 zdravých subjektů. Poincarého grafy a vypočtené indexy SD1 a SD2 byly použity pro vyhodnocení rozdílů mezi těmito dvěma skupinami. SD1 a SD2 měli nižší hodnoty během polohy v leže u pacientů s metabolickým syndromem a také se projevil nižší pokles těchto parametrů během naklonění pacientů při porovnáni s kontrolní skupinou. Tato změna se dá vyjádřit rozdíly deltaSD1 a deltaSD2 před a při naklonění pacienta. Ukazuje se, že deltaSD1 získaný ze signálu neměřeného během testu s nakloněním při kontrolovaném dýchaní 20 krát za minutu by mohl pomoci rozlišovat mezi zdravými osobami a pacienty s metabolickým syndromem v případě vhodné aplikace.
