The break of the 2nd and the 3rd millennium is in telecommunications characterized by an integration of various services that are provided by different networks into a single network. This trend is called service integration or network integration. For network integration the evaluation of QoS is needed. The new possibilities based on the currently obtained results of service integration and practical requirements have led to research that deals with the integration of a trunked radio network and an IP network. This work mainly focuses on the QoS approach of trunked radio networks and interconnection of a trunked radio network with an IP network. This paper deals with proposing a new QoS approach of trunked radio networks with a view to future integration with IP network.
