Originální abstrakt

This paper describes planned or already implemented innovations in the field of computational modelling of slide bearings, which are offered in FEV Virtual Engine software. At the beginning basic information are discussed about classical (standardly used) hydrodynamic theory for slide bearings, furthermore its extension – the possible consideration of a more advance lubrication regime, mixed lubrication regime is described, which will be soon available as an option in the graphical user interface of FEV Virtual Engine software.
