The proposed project targets to build on strong and long-term partnerships between the existing Center of Excellence (CEITEC) and two Austrian leading universities in the fields of advanced materials and technologies, and life sciences. The combination of both mentioned research areas within CEITEC is unique and the further development and joint cooperation in those fields will lead to increased scientific capabilities, improvement of innovation performance and maximizing chances to obtain competitive funding. The Back4Future project aims to focus on joint excellent research, on collaboration among partner´s organizations and industrial partners and on an enhanced and more straightforward exploitation of research results in novel applications, including transfer of technologies towards industry.
