O projektu

Popis anglicky
The project INSREL is focused on the solution of the inverse structural reliability problem - the problem to find design parameters corresponding to specified reliability levels expressed by reliability indexes or by theoretical failure probabilities. Design parameters can be treated as deterministic or random variables. In the second case, the actual design parameters could be either mean or standard deviation of random design variable. A new general approach of the inverse reliability analysis is proposed to obtain design parameters of a computational model in order to achieve prescribed reliability levels. The inverse analysis will be based on the coupling of a stochastic simulation of Monte Carlo type and an artificial neural network. The design parameters play the role of random variables with a scatter reflecting the physical range of parameters. The efficiency of the approach will be tested and applied for inverse tasks from computational structural mechanics.
