V tech. oblastech se V a V čím dál tím více ubírá směrem ke komplexním systémům, které vyžadují týmovou spolupráci stále většího okruhu odborníků. Organizovat tyto týmy není snadné, obzvlášť na univerzitách kde s týmovou prací jsou min. zkušenosti a kde jedincům v této oblasti chybí potřebné specifické znalosti a dovednosti. Také systém vzdělávání je čistě individualistický. Výsledkem jsou absolventi s nulovými znalostmi a zkušenostmi v týmové práci. Cílem projektu je tento neutěšený stav napravovat: 1. Terciárním vzděláváním akademických prac. v odborných, organizačních, komunikačních a dalších dovednostech. 2. Vybudování soft. podpory a koordinační skupiny působící napříč univerzitami a pracovišti fakult aktivně napomáhající ke vzniku a rozvoji V a V týmů. 3. Vytvořením metodiky, pravidel, studijních materiálů a pomůcek pro vznik a činnost týmů z řad studentů, jehož členové by v rámci týmových projektů realizovali svou část jako diplomovou, doktorskou případně bakalářskou práci.

The main objective of the project is to build active support for the creation and development of cutting edge research and scientific teams from the academic staff and students at the mechanical engineering faculties of the technical universities VŠB-Technical University of Ostrava, Brno University of Technology and University of West Bohemia in Pilsen. This objective is supported of four basic major parts: 1.Tertiary education of the academic staff and further training of students in special, organizational, communication and other skills to improve their applicability in research and development especially with emphasis on regard to teamwork. 2.Set up coordinating groups that operates across the partner university and their departments actively to assist the emergence and development of scientific and research teams. Members of this group will actively support the creation of teams, assure their activities in the workplace, search for and recommend members for the teams, help teams to provide financing etc. 3.Creating of the web information system which will record the resulting teams, their current states and outputs of projects handled. Teams here will advertise vacancies, and the problems they could address the other teams, etc. At the other side academic staff will be able here to register and thus to offer their skills for teams. This system will also serve students in setting up student's teams. 4.Creating of methodologies, rules, teaching materials and tools for the formation and operation of teams from the students, whose members will realize the team project as the part of his diploma, bachelor's or doctoral thesis. Student teams will be motivated by inter-university and faculty competitions too.
