By completeing the study with success, the student gains the ability to solve the assigned subjekt matter using corresponding tools.

Prerequisites:
Prerequisite of enrolment for the studio is the knowledge of building construction design, and , according to the assigned subject matter, the knowledge of the respective typology.

Course contents (annotation):
Creative studio work is the main and essential means of teaching architecture. It is based on the "learning by doing" method, i.e. gaining knowledge and skills by practical application. It consists in the dialogue of the teacher with the student over a project that is being developed.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods:
Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes:
The works are given and evaluated by work leader. The project is according to its type consulted by specialists from Engineering and building techniques institute, eventually by other specialists from practice. Studio project is in particular work phases presented on critiques and continuously evaluated according to previously stated criteria. Studio work is classified using ECTS mark scale.

Aims:
The aim of teaching this subject is to prepare the students for solving architectural design problems of small or big constructions or, possibly, an area with corresponding functuional, structural and planning relarionships

Mandatory attendance on critical discussions and keeping agreed project delivery deadline.
