Learning outcomes of the course unit:
Mastering creative step by step approach: study of reality, idea, model implementation using selected material and technology
Mode of delivery:
90 % face-to-face, 10 % distance learning
Prerequisites:
Basics of drawing, modelling and work with colour, talent for graphic and plastic art, knowledge of graphic programs.

Course contents (annotation):
The subject develops the creative ability to treat a spatial idea in relation to concrete material and the implementation proper. The contents of the assignment results from the analysis of the geometric form. The work includes the solution of expression by using colours fitting to the given shape. The aim is to master the method of developing creativity in the search for formal ideas, and to gain the ability to influence the expression by proportional relations, by the material and colour used, and by technological procedure. The subject resumes the contents of the preceding subject taught in the Institute of Drawing and Modelling, and the subject Specialised CAD Systems. It continues in teaching the subject Modelling Techniques.

Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes:
The student's partial assignments and final work - a three-dimensional model - are continuously classified,the mark is the average of all assignments. For the resulting mark, the final work has a greater weight .

Aims:
Mastering the methods and procedures that can be used in the search for ideas.
Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences:
Classes are monitored and the the fulfilment of the individual assignments and of the final work are evaluated. Non-fulfilment of 20 % of assignments is tolerated.
