Learning outcomes of the course unit:
The student gains theoretical knowledge of 3D computer graphics and photorealistic visualisations, and practical skills in creating scenes in the Autodesk MAX Design 2011 environment and animations.
Mode of delivery:
90 % face-to-face, 10 % distance learning
Prerequisites:
The student has command of the work with 2D and 3D graphic data, is capable of creating simple photorealistic space models of the studied object in MAX Design.

Course contents (annotation):
The subject provides information on general 3 D modelling and photorealistic visualisation.
More advanced and demanding procedures are explained - Surface modelling, Nurbs modelling,
global illumination. More detailed attention is devoted to the creation of animation outputs.

Aims:
The aim is to provide the students with instruments for creating more complex and demanding photorealistic space models.
Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences:
80% attendance at tutorials, active work at seminars, continous work on assignements
