Fields of education
The aim of the study is to educate experts for the operational level of business management with the simultaneous knowledge of process management issues and the basics of technologies and materials in engineering or electrical engineering.
Prerequisites and co-occurrence of the study program:
The bachelor study program of the Process Management program is based on the context of the understanding of the enterprise as a basic element of the knowledge environment which leads to the application of the principles of Industry 4.0 from the point of view of business (digitization, robotics, logistics, intelligent autonomous equipment for the digital enterprise) and providing knowledge and skills for successful realization in industrial practice, with the help of a newly-developed specialist lab for education to labor market skills. The prepared study program respects the impact of changes to industrial sectors in the Czech Republic and is supported by a survey of the demand for graduates from enterprises cooperating with the Faculty of Business. Within Industry 4.0, the expected expertise approaches include increased capacity utilization, inventory reduction, or increased service delivery through closer collaboration with suppliers. These are the modern concepts summarized in the National Industry Initiative 4.0, based on the pillars - digitization, combinatorics and exponential development of technology. For example, technology involves the further development of artificial intelligence, 3D printing, or nanotechnology.
The Process Management program is conceived as a professionally oriented study program in the field of process management focused on the engineering and electrotechnical production technologies. The program appropriately combines management and engineering technologies or technologies in electrical engineering.
The graduate program acquires multidisciplinary knowledge for business process management in terms of value creation for the customer. The primary focus is on the operational management of processes in small and medium-sized enterprises in engineering or electrotechnical production. Graduates will be ready for process management built on digitization in Industry 4.0.
In addition to operational managerial skills for process management, the graduate will acquire technical knowledge in the field of basic technologies of engineering or electrotechnical production processes and will also be able to use the full range of enterprise information systems to support process management. At the same time, graduates will have the ability to express interrelationships (including economics) between technology, technology and management decision-making. These are mainly the following areas:
1. Procedural proceedings
2. Project management
3. Areas of technical preparation of production
4. Marketing concepts
5. Logistics concepts
6. Production Management
7. Digitization and globalization
8. Technology of engineering production or technology of electrotechnical production

Practical skills and competences: Ability to work with English text at professional and general level, communication in written and spoken form at both formal and informal level.
Graduates of the Process Management study program will most often find employment as professionals at the operational level of management within small and medium-sized manufacturing companies - mainly with a focus on engineering or electrotechnical production (according to the chosen study focus).
After acquiring practical skills, graduates can be expected to be employed by independent professionals and production and logistics managers and in positions of project and product managers.
Graduates may continue to study Master's degree programs at the Faculty of Business Administration accredited in the field of economic studies.
The state final exam consists of two parts, namely the defense of the bachelor thesis and the oral examination. The oral exam consists of three courses. The individual SZZ ranges are designed to cover the content of study subjects of the profiling curriculum of the curriculum and are also in line with the expected learning outcomes and the graduate profile. These are the following three headings:
Process and project management circuit
Links to courses: Process Management, Project Management, Business Systems
