Study aims

The aim of the study is to educate experts for the operational level of business management with the simultaneous knowledge of process management issues and the basics of technologies and materials in engineering or electrical engineering.
Prerequisites and co-occurrence of the study program:
The bachelor study program of the Process Management program is based on the context of the understanding of the enterprise as a basic element of the knowledge environment which leads to the application of the principles of Industry 4.0 from the point of view of business (digitization, robotics, logistics, intelligent autonomous equipment for the digital enterprise) and providing knowledge and skills for successful realization in industrial practice, with the help of a newly-developed specialist lab for education to labor market skills. The prepared study program respects the impact of changes to industrial sectors in the Czech Republic and is supported by a survey of the demand for graduates from enterprises cooperating with the Faculty of Business. Within Industry 4.0, the expected expertise approaches include increased capacity utilization, inventory reduction, or increased service delivery through closer collaboration with suppliers. These are the modern concepts summarized in the National Industry Initiative 4.0, based on the pillars - digitization, combinatorics and exponential development of technology. For example, technology involves the further development of artificial intelligence, 3D printing, or nanotechnology.
The Process Management program is conceived as a professionally oriented study program in the field of process management focused on the engineering and electrotechnical production technologies. The program appropriately combines management and engineering technologies or technologies in electrical engineering.
