Abstract:

The main object of this thesis is to outline the design goals and criteria of continuous controllers parameters. It discusses the design development and the implementation of these designs. The thesis contains a practical results based analysis of the performance of the designs, ending in a summarizing conclusion on the work carried out and were the original goals achieved. The thesis discusses and compares all selected methods of operation to achieve the best quality of continuous control, The selected methods are applied on four concrete regulated systems. All designed systems are verified with mathematical models in this thesis.
