Engineering Structures in Architecture

Filed in civil engineering today is the importance of roads, railways, bridges, towers, underground facilities and tunnels. It is an extensive complex of buildings that are in the cities and in the countryside apply remarkable shape and size and the symbiosis of art and engineering dovednosí architectural values. Mission is to help architect their profession to implement these structures, knowledge of terminology, the structural system and the principles of technical solutions to today's buildings of this type. The knowledge gained by completing the course should help to supplement the information in this area. Strand of the course will be directed to the civil engineering works in architecture in order to present the existing options in the proposal with regard to the material options, the importance of the choice of structural design in order to highlight the artistic and architectural values in general, documented the exceptional construction, that indicate the trend of development which overcomes the boundaries of human feasibility .
