Planned learning activities and teaching methods
Teaching methods depend on the type of course unit as specified in the article 7 of BUT Rules for Studies and Examinations.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
1) Conditions for being granted credit: working out and submitting drawings assigned during the semester; passing both written test; active attendance of at least 10 tutorials from 13.
2) Examination: written examination; one regular term and two resit terms - point assessment,
min./max = 30/60 points.
3) Resutling ECTS classification: sum of points obtained for tutorials and for examination.
Language of instruction
1)introduction to the architecture. Fundamental terms. Structure building. Hierarchy construction and systems.
2)constructive system I - sorting, typology and stability objects.
3)constructive system III - skeleton program blockhouse.
4)constructive system II - wall insulator brick.
5)brick elements + openings in sides. Smokestacks.
6)floor I - survey and technical requirements
7)floor II - monolithic and prefab - 1.part.
8)floor II - monolithic and prefab - 2.part . substructure cellarage buildings inclusive supplements.
9)upright communication buildings I - introduction, survey, constructional and technical requirements
10)upright communication buildings II - staircase and ramp
11)upright communication buildings III - staircase and ramp
12)overhanging and recessive construction.
13)constructive system IV - wall insulator blockhouse.
Knowledge of engineering structures, their functions, technical equipment and mode of foundation.
Knowledge ot the relation between the bearing structure and the layout. Knowledge of the principles of various kinds of structural systems, vertical and horizonata bearing structures, mode of solving vertical communications, cantileverd and receding structures.
Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
- working out of drawings: modes of drawing according to ČSN; technical lettering; accuracy of
drafting; characteristic plan of the entransc floor of a smaller building, including
stairway; sections of the building (in the extent of one floor); views of the building
( in the extent of one floor), details
- classification of technical folders
- two control tests
