The basic of Environmental Sampling
FCH-BCO_ZVEAcad. year: 2017/2018
Besides waste and waste water sampling, the lectures will be focused on sampling of water and other components of water environment, soils and biotic matrices. Block 2:
Subsequent lectures will concentrate on sampling of open atmosphere, emissions and wet and dry depositions.
Students will be familiarised with the ensuring of quality of sampling for environmental analysis.Students will also be informed about the introduction of the QA/QC system into sampling.
Theory of application of various passive samplers for different matrices, types of passive samplers.
Learning outcomes of the course unit
Students will become familiar with the methodology of sampling various environmental matrices, especially the proper collection procedure. In addition, they are able to prepare sampling plans for this collection procedure.
